Hey Team!

In this email, you'll uncover the latest in major policy shifts (like Amazon’s new bundling requirements and a dramatically shortened missing inventory claim window) to insider strategies for keeping your stock flowing through Q4.

We are also sharing a recording of Lou's talk at Amazon Accelerate, in case you missed him on stage. He goes over key levers you need to know for Q4 along with the real experience of a client we met at Accelerate last year.

Let’s get to it!

Winter is Coming….and so are New Bundling Requirements

Beginning January 11, 2027, Amazon will require most physical product bundles listed as a single ASIN to be pre-packaged directly by the original manufacturer or brand owner. Self-assembled bundles will no longer be permitted unless you secure a formal Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the brand owner, qualify for category exemptions like gifting or cameras, or switch to Virtual Bundles. Additionally, Amazon is removing older restrictions to allow bundles in media categories (Books, Music, DVDs, and Video Games), as well as combinations involving generic add-ons, service plans, gift cards, or multi-brand consumables (with LOAs).

To prepare during Q4, sellers should audit their current product catalog to identify any non-compliant listings. Take advantage of high Q4 holiday traffic to aggressively sell through existing non-compliant inventory before the deadline. For core bundles you wish to keep, use this period to request necessary LOAs from brand owners or transition your listings to Amazon’s Virtual Bundles tool. Taking these steps now will help you avoid deactivations, Account Health listing violations, or forced FBA inventory removal orders after January 11.

8 Tips to Avoid Stockouts in Q4

Running out of stock during the peak Q4 holiday shopping season is one of the quickest ways to devastate your Amazon business. Not only does a stockout mean lost holiday sales, but it also tanks your organic search rankings, handing your market share directly to competitors on a silver platter.

In this article, we break down essential strategies to keep your inventory flowing smoothly through the holiday rush, such as securing flexible financing terms for larger inventory runs to accurately forecasting seasonal demand. You'll understand how leveraging an FBA prep partner allows you to drip-feed stock into Amazon's fulfillment network, protecting your store against inventory limits and costly storage fees while ensuring expert inspections prevent listing suppressions before shipments leave the warehouse. Get ahead of the holiday shopping craze and protect your profits today!

Missing inventory claim window reduced to 30 days

Since September 23, 2026, Amazon has cut the maximum claim window for "Missing from Inbound" shipments in half, dropping it from 60 days down to just 30 days. While Amazon frames this change as a way to expedite resolutions and improve accuracy, the reality for FBA sellers is a significantly tighter timeline to audit landed inventory and claim lost reimbursements before money gets left on the table.

Keep in mind, since you still have to wait 14 days post-delivery for Amazon to reconcile shipments, your actual operational window to catch missing units and submit claims through Seller Central shrinks to a mere 16-day gap. There is a brief transition period through October 23 where 60-day claims can still be filed via the Help Page, but going forward, slow audit workflows will directly hit your bottom line.

To protect your margins, backend logistics and inventory reconciliation need to move at high velocity so discrepancies are flagged the moment that 14-day hold lifts.

Amazon’s Multi-Dimensional Growth System

Amazon performance isn’t a collection of separate dials you can tweak one by one. If you are pulling advertising levers in one dashboard while managing pricing, listing content, and prep logistics in total isolation, you are missing the bigger picture. In this article written by our partners at DeepM.ai, we uncover how Amazon’s discovery algorithms treat your product listing as a single, interconnected ecosystem where every backend operational decision triggers a frontend commercial domino effect.

Bad prep or improper packaging leads to damaged items and higher return rates, which quickly snowball into negative reviews, lower conversion rates, and a complete tailspin in your organic search rank. You cannot solve a conversion or visibility issue if you aren't looking at the lagged performance indicators across your entire supply chain. Real growth happens when you treat logistics as a strategic lever and track how backend operational execution directly fuels your marketplace momentum.
